How much does Medithai.net cost me?
Zero. We will not charge you with any service fee. For each patient we refer to a hospital we receive a referral commission. For the hospitals and clinics this represents a cost which they consider as a marketing expense, similar to advertising in a newspaper, therefore the price for your treatment will be the same as if you contact the hospitals and clinics directly and better, in some cases we even offer lower prices than the hospitals. Why should I use Medithai.net?

Is Medithai.net affiliated or dependant of any hospital or clinic?
No, absolutely not. We would like to emphasize that we are completely independent and this is important when we recommend hospitals and doctors. After all, there are big differences among doctors and we want to recommend you the best specialist in their field.

How do we know who is the best specialist?
Our Medithai.net consultant Dr. Donna Robinson has been living and practicing in Thailand for 19 years and knows the Thai hospitals and doctors very well.
Does Medithai.net give medical advise?
You have the possibility of asking medical questions directly to our consultant Dr. Donna Robinsondr.donna@medithai.net. She will answer your questions according to her best knowledge. Dr. Donna Robinson is a British national who has been a resident of Thailand for almost 19 years, she speaks Thai and is a fully qualified Thai medical practitioner having passed the Thai Medical Examination in 1998. Her primary role is GP at MedConsult Clinic. She is trained in general practice, occupational medicine and internal medicine.

What are the services offered by Medithai.net?
Primarily we will help you choose the best specialist for your treatment as well as getting quotations for it. Once you have made up your mind we will arrange the doctor appointment and make sure that you don’t waste your valuable time by knowing exactly which hospital/clinic you will have your treatment and who is going to perform it. We can also help you in finding a convenient accommodation during your stay in Thailand since we have special rates with several hotels. On request we can arrange the whole trip; this will be organized by our partner travel agency who is specialized in combining medical trips with leisure and holidays.

Where is Medithai.net based?
Contrary to many other medical tourism websites, we are actually located in Bangkok. This is important since we need to be close to the hospitals and clinics in order to remain fully up to date.
Are the prices quoted by Medithai.net marked up? Is it cheaper to contact the hospitals and clinics directly?
Absolutely not! We will provide the same prices as the hospitals and clinics. And better, in some cases we are able to offer discounts or complimentary services which you will not get if you contact the hospitals directly. Similar to a travel agency who can offer lower hotel rates than the hotels, we at Medithai.net can offer you better deals than the hospitals.
